Aaron Weller Managing Director |
The founding father of Crucial Paradigm and brains trust of the Operation, Aaron holds the key to all information that has ever passed through these doors. Originally from Adelaide (unfortunately) he spent much of his school years internationally, generating a wealth of experience dealing with people from different facets of life. His industry knowledge, backed by his Bachelor of IT degree (UTS) provides him with the skills that continually drive and develop the business both here in Australia and the US. Outside of the office Aaron is often distracted by the three loves in life; A Volkswagen Golf R32, Honda CBR900 Motorbike and his wife Lizzie.

Ijan Kruizinga Director, Sales & Marketing |
Say hello to Aaron’s Number 2, Ijan ‘Life of the Party’ Kruizinga joined Crucial in 2006 and has contributed enormously to the commercial growth of the business both locally and overseas. His ‘work 24 hours a day’ attitude, business prowess and ability to network with people from any area of globe means he’s constantly in the air or on the road, in search of the next deal or ideally, drink. Jokes aside, Ijan has a strong background in SME, and even ran a web-design company back in the IT bubble heyday of 2000 (it was all his fault!). More than a decade of experience has come to fruition, and when he’s not overseas he spends most of his time exercising, spending time with friends or drawing up new innovative plans for driving the business forward.

Ross Cheetham Operations Manager |
Another cornerstone of Crucial, Rosco (as he’s romantically known around these parts) is a Systems Administrator mastermind. With humble beginning of desktop support he has honed his skills to become one of the best in the business and knows the Crucial Network like the back of his hands. With accreditation from VMware and Microsoft, Rosco can ninja even the most difficult of software, network or hardware issues before you can say ‘to the cloud!’ (not that we ever say that). Holidays are common for Rosco, unfortunately for him it gives the team another chance to deface his otherwise spotless desk. At the end of the day, it’s all just ‘cool beans’ for Rosco...

Scott Francis Engineering & Development Manager |
At first glance Scott (The Marlin-Terminator) Francis looks like various fast bowlers of days gone by, which is fitting as he’s currently a first grader for North Sydney. One of the more recent additions to team, Scott has slotted in seamlessly to the daily processes (and shenanigans) that occur at Crucial HQ. With a primary background in communications and digital content delivery, Scott has administered network systems and coordinated projects for major telecommunication companies. A self-obsessed polymath (look it up..) he excels at many aspects of life, work and music. An original Sydneysider, knocking back a few pints is not problem for Scott, however keeping his chair upright has proved to be a constant battle…

Karl Kloppenborg Programming Ninja |
The proclaimed Programming Ninja of Crucial, Karl Michael (not to be mistaken with Karmichael Hunt) originally hails from the Gold Coast. At the age of 15 Karl had already ran a successful hosting company and held the role of Systems Administrator of an ISP. His background and experience extends to Virtualisation, Robotics, Electronics and the Web. Now in Sydney, Karl led the development of the new Cloud Infrastructure project at Crucial and excels in every aspect of the hosting industry, quite simply he knows just about everything there is to know. When not in front of his four screens in the office he finds times to get back to his country roots – just beware, he’s a crack shot with a rifle.

Hendrik Kruizinga Client Relationship Manager |
The younger brother of Ijan (like web 2.0), Hendrik joined Team Crucial in early 2011 and brought over his relaxed but focused attitude. His experience includes a background in corporate banking and account services, he is always happy to take five and chat to the client about anything. With a vested self-interest in finance and IT, he is on a continuous development path to learn more about the hosting industry. An avid (..downright fanatical) supporter of Arsenal FC, he’s often found by the air-conditioner chatting about sport and is ever thankful that his favourite attire of Havaianas and a t-shirt is welcome in the office. Oh, and Hendrik is easily roped into a game of Call of Duty when the time is right.

Andrew Thorn Business Development Manager |
With a cheek to cheek smile Andrew is the man everyone wants to take on the golf course, an offer he gladly accepts every time. The first true BDM under the Crucial banner, Andrew has brought a wealth of corporate experience to the team and is generating new ideas and leads on a daily basis. With a focus on new deals, social media, web design and SEO; Andrew is constantly out and about meeting new people and developing new contacts. With a taste for the finer things in life, he happily obliges by the three ‘f’s: Fine food, Fine wine & Fine women. And luckily for him, he’s nailed all three and is happily engaged.

Vikram Rana Technical Support Coordinator |
An originating founder of what is now called the Internet (wait, who wrote this?) Vikram’s experience in the hosting sector is superb in every sense. With a background that ranges from Systems Administrator (Linux & Windows), Support Desk Manager, through to running his own Technical Support firm; what better man to coordinate the daily happenings in the Technical Support team. Originally from Agra (India), he loves spending time with his wife and having a pint on a Friday afternoon with the rest of the team. Oh and no, he doesn’t like cricket.

Jada White Systems Administrator |
Jedi Knight Jada White may be a freshman at Crucial but his hosting prowess is far from school-boy rookie. An expert with a Samurai sword; Jada indulges himself with HBO documentaries, fitness fiend Tony Horton and authentic Japanese cuisine. Quite the connoisseur, non? Jada has a depth of knowledge that extends to mathematics & computer science, he also has a strong background in the hosting industry working with everything from web design and coding through to hardware and networks. With an innate sense of time, Jada has taken the ‘red pill’ and been the rabbit hole; however as he found out – there’s no clouds in the matrix, much to his dismay.
