The Amazing Race — one of our team-building days.

What is your favourite thing about Crucial?

The culture — the people I work with.

What do you like the most about what you do at Crucial?

The sky’s the limit — if I have an idea, Crucial allows me to roll with it; if I’m interested in something, I can do courses about it. There’s a lot of support, and new and exciting ways to market Crucial.

What is your proudest moment in life?

Finishing a marathon — hands down!

What is your funniest/silliest moment in life?

I’m very accident-prone, so there’s a lot of head injuries. There’s a lot there but I can’t remember them…

What is one thing you couldn’t live without?

Definitely, friends and family.

If you could have dinner with any fictional/non-fictional character, who would it be and what would you eat?

Abraham Lincoln, because he is my hero — he’s the person who I look up to the most. And, cornbread, because it was his favourite.

Which company value resonates most with you?

Get sh*t done, that’s my favourite one.

How would you sum up Crucial in three words?

Best. Job. Ever.

Questions:

Where did you start with Crucial?

I started as the famous first Marketing Intern at Crucial and was a part of the team for about 5 months when they decided that they wanted to bring me aboard as a part-time member.

What is your best memory with Crucial?

Probably our Amazing Race team event, as it really helped me get to know the team and have loads of fun in the meantime.

What is your favourite thing about Crucial?

Definitely the culture. I have never felt so comfortable and welcomed at a place before. It’s truly a relaxing atmosphere in the office.

What do you like the most about what you do at Crucial?

Being creative is always an interest of mine, so when I get to explore the possibilities of how to market something for Crucial, I try not to get too excited.

What was the most interesting job you had before Crucial?

Not necessarily interesting, but I once participated in some marketing research about instant noodles. I ate bowls full until there were noodles coming out of my ears, and got $40 for it. I wish every job was like that!

What is your proudest moment in life?

Honestly, it would have to be surpassing everyone’s expectations and getting the job at Crucial. I’ve received praise for it mainly because I’m a full time university student as well.

What is your funniest/silliest moment in life?

One time, in primary school, I was so tired that I wore my pajamas under my school uniform, and didn’t notice until I got home.

What is one thing you couldn’t live without?

My body and its organs. Duuh.

If you could have dinner with any fictional or nonfictional character, who would it be and what would you eat?

Luigi from Super Mario Bros. because we’re the second sons in an Italian family — we just get each other. And, of course, we’d have Italian. Duuh.

Which company value resonates most with you?

Make complex simple — because it’s what I strive to do everyday in the marketing department.

How would you sum up Crucial in three words?

Fun. Challenging. Close.
